Just a few changes.

1. P51 intake is polished and the lower is powder coated black.
2. Moroso valve covers powder coated red.

Quick update -
I have now driven on the Toyo R888's for about 2 weeks now.
I've been in the rain with them and they performed great! No slipping or sliding like I had with a set of Mickey Thompson drag radials.
The ride is almost identical to the Nitto 555 ZR's I just removed.
The tires actually hook very well on dry pavement! I was surprised how well rounded in fit, form and function these are!

Highly recommend these tires for a high horsepower daily driver!

Picture from last week.
Proof that the Toyo R888's work great in the rain! Drove like a regular all season tire and didn't slip or hydroplane any.

Yes. They have a few options to choose from.
Just the SALEEN name.
The SALEEN name and the Saleen Logo (either on top like mine or on the side).
Different colors, etc.

Cost $188 shipped and took about 3 weeks from order.

Not a hard install and really dresses up the trunk!

Give them a shout at http://www.granddesignmat.com/

Awesome car! I see you had the hood notched for the P-51 intake. I had to do the same to my car even with a Cobra R hood. That manifold caused all sorts of fitment issues but in the end the power gains made up for it.

Good eye. Yes it needed a little mod to clear.
My clear coat is coming off the hood, so when I get it fixed, I will have the underside touched up as well so it won't be as obvious!

The shop who painted my hood had to take a huge piece out. They were going to reverse the piece to make it look cleaner but guess it was to difficult to do. I was concerned about the opening but now it doesnt bother me as much.

I love the trunk mat, but my 00 sc/281 has the saleen signature in the trunk. And what paint did you use to paint the calipers? Did you totally remove them when you painted them?

Update.

I swapped out the Corbeau seats (front) and cobra seats (rear) for a matched set of Mach 1 seats.

Well it's been almost one year since I purchased the car.
I actually sold the car last month!
It was a fun project that was almost 100% complete, except it needed a little paint work on the hood, wing, and pillars to correct some clear coat peeling.

A friend of mine bought it and has been enjoying it ever since.

Here's the final pics I have of it.

Ryan

I appreciate the compliment!
I wasn't trying to sell the car actually.
My buddy was looking for a 03/04 cobra and I told him about some local choices.
When those cars didn't work out for him, I mentioned my car and he immediately made me an offer.
Not thinking he was serious, I said OK.
The next day he showed up with a car trailer and $17K cash!

I had to let it go! I sure do miss it, but it really needed the clear coat fixed to be perfect and I was driving it daily.

I've since replaced it with a daily beater - 2002 Explorer XLT. HUGE Change I tell ya! Not quite the same "get up and go". L O L!!

May 2015 UPDATE!

Well after almost 2 years, the car MIGHT be coming back home to me.

I talked to the guy that owns it (he also purchased my black TTSaleen last year) and he is considering selling it.

I told him that I might be interested and plan to go look at the car this weekend.

I hope after 2 years it still is in the same shape (or close) as when I sold it.

Hope you get it. I loved following this thread as it motivated me for my 96 build. Especially since you were running the p51 manifold

Well it wasn't meant to be.
The car needs work (Turbo seals shot and turbos smoking, paint was quickly fixed with subpar body/paint work and looks horrible).
Also the owner was about $3K higher for the car than I wanted to invest.

I explained to him the work needed to make the car perfect and that my initial investment would not allow me to spend anymore than my initial offer.
His wife made the decision for him..... LOL....but in the end he kept it and I bought something else (G8 GT).

So I guess this project won't come back to me..... too bad. I had BIG plans for it!

Haha. $22k is ridiculous.
So after about 5 owners it now resides in SC. I had heard it went from New Bern, NC back thru Raleigh, then Asheville, then Tennessee, before being in SC.
Along those many owners, no one ever fixed any of the engine issues I told them about. Basically the engine has over 50k miles on it and needs new rings. I'd do a complete rebuild with rings, bearings, and valve springs/seals minimum. I'd also have the turbos inspected and new seals installed.
That car has been driven HARD and shows it. Sadly that cowl hood takes away from the overall look of the car. I believe the guy I sold the car to still has it, but I haven't spoken to him in years.
I am actually in contact with the current owner (thru instagram) just last week regarding some questions on the car.

Honestly, I would be interested in still owning the car again, but no where near that price. I would need to spend about $15k on it to make it perfect between the paint, hood, and engine.
