Default Searching for 90-0019 SC

Does anyone have any info as to where 1990 Saleen SC Hatchback #19 wound up? I bought the car from Jim Stafford at John Bleakley Ford in Lithia Springs, Ga. I only had it for a short time and it was stolen from my driveway in Riverdale, Ga. The thieves joy rode the car and burned it. The shell as well as the motor & drivetrain was last seen at the impound yard in Fairburn, Ga in 1992. I saw a post on here from someone claiming to have 90-0019 in red. 90-0019 was not a red car, it was black with silver decals and grey interior. It was also an SC, one of 13 SC's built out of 256 total cars that year.

Welcome Jim. I expect there is a long list of folks looking for your car, or so I hear.

I own 90-0015SC and have been attempting to locate all of the SC's built and find pictures of them, etc. The picture you posted is the only picture I've ever seen of 90-0019SC. Would be nice if you had more to share. Feel free to PM me if you have more information you'd like to share.

The 90-0019 car you mentioned is real, just not an SC. There is 90-0019 and 90-0019SC. Totally different cars.

It is my understanding that 90-0019SC was crushed at some point, but I have no proof of that. Maybe if you still had the VIN you could find out if a new title had been issued? Just a thought.

Best of luck on your search. Keep us posted on your findings.

I did find the vin # and ran a car fax on it. It was crushed & scrapped on 10/13/1997. 90-0019SC IS GONE FOR GOOD.😕

I found a car dealer online that has pictures of 90-0022SC. It was built new and shipped to a buyer in Canada. It has KMH speedo and low headrest flofit seats because of Canadian law.

I wonder how many '90s had the black Ford interior with tu-tone cloth Saleen/Flofit SC seats...
