Detailed our 2006 S281 3-valve
Before Pictures
This is actually one of our personal cars we just picked up a few weeks ago. My wife saw this on craigslist and thought she had to have it. Now that the weather is a bit better it is time to bring that exterior back to life. The car is pretty rough and has 127k miles on it. before picture of the roof. the paint on the car was pretty rough with lots of swirls picture of the hood, which has lots of RIDS and swirls. trunk lid and spoiler which are also in very poor condition passenger door and quarter panel before picture rear bumper cover and exhaust tips which have a fair amount of carbon build up on them before shot of the passenger rear quarter dirt build up around the tail light and rear bumper cover before shot of the passenger front wheel |

The Cleaning Process
The car was washed using the 2 bucket method with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Clear. After that it was decon'd with Iron X, after being thoroughly rinsed it was then followed up with another wash using a Nanoskin wash mit. Sonax FE doing its thing cleaning the exhaust with APC and wheel whoolies CarPro IX working on removing surface contamination another shot of IX doing it thing area around the trunk opening before cleaning picture of the rear bumper after being washed and decon'd for compounding to start freshly washed and decon'd car ready to start the real work The real condition of the paint condition of the passenger front fender under the LED lights passenger door before picture. lots of swirls just like the rest of the car another angle of the same area only below the door handle scuff marks on the passneger side of the front bumper cover before picture of the rear bumper cover. the finish really lacks gloss due to the condition of the paint paint defect on the passenger front fender before pic of the passenger rear quarter |

The Compounding Process

After Shots

I really wasn't try to make it perfect, just buying sometime till I can get it repainted. Thanks for the complements, and if anyone has any detailing questions or needs any product recommendations feel free to ask.
