Default Short throw shifter for 420s

Does anyone know the part number(s) for the short throw shifter on the Racecraft 420S?

Default Saleen short throw shifter kit

I found it on Saleen.com. A $45 part.

Short Throw Shifter Kit (Manual), 2005 to 2010
Part Number: 06-2705-B124740

I have compared throws between a 2009 GT and 2009 420S, and GT throws are much longer.

Anyone know what it takes to install this?

it takes longer to put the car on the hoist then it actually takes to install the short shift block.

The Saleen short-throw block is a great low-dollar upgrade. These were standard in the serialized 2005-2009 Saleen Mustangs as well.

If you really want to step up though, a complete aftermarket shifter assembly is the way to go. Even with the Saleen short block, the remaining OE Ford shifter is still vague and rubbery at times.

Racecraft owners should take Mike's comments to heart. He has to have one of the most personalized RCs in the country (and one one of the first owners to boot).
