Help: Replacement rotors & pads? - 2007 S281
Hi all. This is my first post here. I'm trying to identify the front brake rotors and pads on my Saleen S281 Convertible.
The vehicle was converted to RHD and delivered in Australia early 2008, so it would probably be a 2007 model vehicle. VIN is 1ZVHT85H785120848 Vehicle number is 32. It's a great car and still a real head turner, but after about 135km the front rotors are looking sad, and I think the brake guys have been using whatever pads they could get to fit. Can anyone let me what type of rotors and pads would have been used, or any suggestions for replacement. Thanks a lot... Phil |

Hi Phil.
If your vehicle is a S281 Supercharged, it has the Saleen front brake package. This package was produced by StopTech. This is their 14" rotor kit that uses their 2-piston caliper. If your vehicle is an S281 3-valve, the Saleen brake package was an option. If you do not have the Saleen brake package, then your rotors and calipers are stock Ford Mustang GT items. |

Thanks Dave. That's a great help. I'll measure the rotor and take a look at the calipers.
