Question Q: License Plate Bracket?

Just purchased a 2005 and being delivered next Monday.

NJ requires a front plate and since this Saleen is coming from Fla (no front plate required), what type of bracket are those here using that require a front plate?

Plus the windshield banner (SALEEN) needs to be replaced. I do see a few of them posted on ebay but diff sizes. Can someone measures there's for the proper height and width and let me know.

Thanks

I have my front plate in the opening in the front valance. Didn’t want it on the front bumper. I believe you can get the windshield banner from Saleen.

Congratulations on your purchase!

If you can, I would avoid brackets that require drilling into the exterior finish of the bumper cover.

As linked in this thread, Saleen Performance Parts can provide you with a new window banner. The S197 banner is specific for that generation of Mustang.

Thank you.

Pics to be posted by Tues.

Depending upon when "New Christine" is dropped off.
You say why, "New Christine"?

Christine was my 1973 Mustang Mach 1 Tribute Convert that I just sold.

Going to order the sto-n-sho.

But if I don't care to flip it under, couldn't I just not use the white spaces and that would raise the plate further off the ground?

I'm a little concerned about it hanging low when in the upright position.

I did see your post about these a few days ago but it was a few years old with no updated responses or so I thought.

But I ended up buying the Sto-n-Go earlier today.

Thanks for responding.

They work for me, but I also really only put them on to get an inspection sticker.

Have a friend with the Sto-n-go on his GT500, he is very happy with it. You will be good.

Ok I'm back.

I did buy the Sto n sho but when I looked on the bottom of the cover, instead of having 2 screws there are 2 rivots (hate to ask why). Saleen was checked out before I bought it and they said no accidents.

So I'm considering selling the sto n sho and getting yours as the package was opened.

How exactly does yours mount?

Any pics of the install?

Thanks

It is clever, it sandwiches the plastic of the front fascia. I do not have any pix, but sounds like you will find out soon.
