Default Hood Latch

Is the hood latch on our Saleen's the same as Ford factory 6W6Z16700A?

Did Saleen change it?

Thanks

Good to know as I have the normal hood flutter on my 05 and I'm hearing that a latch that has some wiggle could be the problem.

Thanks

I think it has more to do with design then it does to do with the latch.

More than likely, but figure a hood latch with no wiggle is still better than a latch with some wiggle.

I contacted about a month ago and they responded that the kits were to expensive to make.

To me, if that's the case, raise the price.

I know. It doesn’t make much sense. They must figure they couldn’t sell them for what they’d have to charge for them.
