Question Q: Where are the 2006 production #'s?

I mean really? It's been 2 years and no production numbers, I just would like to know just how rare my car is. Also seems as though Saleen is going full into the auto business qith what like 3 new models coming out now! I just hope they stay Limited.

Actually, there's closer to 10 different models if you count the various engine options, the American Flag and the new Dan Gurney car.

The lack of production numbers from Saleen has come up several times a month with various people in the organization virtually since Liz left.

And because of some organizational changes of late, there might be reason for optimism; but then again it could be just as stalled as it ever was.

But we'll be sure to let you know as soon as they are available.

It's a dead issue. However, I have Ford's 06 numbers, but not relative to Saleen except for the vert's for some reason. Interesting, whoever did the books there took it with them!

I agree that this is getting a tad bit long.

I understand your comment about rarity but I however am not looking for that. In 20 years or so then we will see how rare it is. Saleen has offer alot of Limited Editions for anything to be rare. I am looking for distinguished. Ex. How many 06 Black Speedsters are there. I know that there is more than one but curiosity is getting the better of me. Are there 50 - 1 in each state sold? That would be nice to know.

Please respond to the poll a the top of this forum if you haven't already.

Poll: 2006-07 Owners: How important are the publication of production numbers to you?

It appears that there is some progress on getting the production numbers made available, and we'll be sure to keep you posted.

Again, please be patient.

Really appreciate you replying kind sir !
Already confirmed mine was built in MI and converted in California.
Mine also is with the black accents. I feel very blessed to say the least to have found this one and for the price....well, lets say it feels more like a gift. Maybe one day we will have grandchildren, and it can get passed down...
Hope ur well, safe, and healthy.

Default 2006 Windveil Blue?

I have an '06 Windveil Blue S281 coupe with stripes on hood, roof and trunk. Not sure if they were put on by Saleen or not. Car is #770. I think when I had called Saleen that it was estimated that there were less than 50 in this color that year. Anyone have a more precise number? Just something I would like to keep in my records when it's time to move on to another one someday.
