1989 radio harness

My pioneer radio won't play tape and for some reason won't play the passenger side of the saleen. Lol. I want to get it fixed so I bought another stereo for its place. Just wonder if saleen used a radio connector or did they cut the factory harness?
Haven't pulled mine yet to check. Just wondering if someone has already replaced their old radio.

On my 89 ssc no wires was cut . Looks like to me they had use a radio harness .

Awesome! So hopefully I just need to unplug the Pioneer and add the loaner. lol

I just hope they can fix it.

Saleen unfnfortunatley hacked the factory wire harness!

You probably just ave a loose wire on your right speaker, is it just the front or front and back ??

Good Luck, shouldn't be hard to check out the wiring

Bill was right. I had this.



But then after installing a factory plug - I now have this.



I like the Pioneer look a lot better. But the EQ needs repair and so does the tape.
