Thee is no bumper number. Is that the customer ZL1 that was brought in? Is a serialized car?

Looks like a 2014 model. Did Chevrolet release a 2014 ZL1?

2014 ZL1 has the same nose as the 2013. That's a 2014 regular Camaro nose.

Good looking car!

It's nice, only because Saleen touched it, otherwise the Camaro is an ugly car. I think Saleen should stay away from it and the Challenger. Just doesn't look right seeing the Saleen banner on their windshields. My two cents...

You guys do know Steve went to GM before Ford so there could have been a Saleen Camero back in the 80s not a Saleen Mustang....

I agree they should stay away from the other cars as well. Most people recognize the Saleen brand on the Mustang, not the Camaro or Challenger. IMO, I like the exclusivity of one car manufacturer "wearing" the Saleen name. Although I happen to like the Camaro ZL1 and new Camaro Saleen look... :)

I saw this car at the show. Did nothing for me. I'd rather have a z28. But irrelevant as I'll never own a camaro.

I could not agree more. This was what I was thinking when they reacquired the Saleen name.

LOL

I am not a Camaro fan as Camaro was the competition to the Mustang.

Ahhh, the Geo Metro... the "Gone in Sixty Seconds". Not that one was used in the movie, that's just how long it takes to get one of these Chevrolet Weinerwagons out of the driveway.

A friend of mine took his Chevy Geo Metro to a dealership to trade in for a real car under one of those "Push, pull, or trade" deals. The dealer took a look at the car and said "meh, no thanks." That car would probably get denied for the "Cash For Clunkers" program.

He also drove Escorts, didn't he?

I like it. Then again, I have a soft spot for SSC's, so that is probably why.

I agree too. I can understand brand recognition, but the Saleen name is most associated with Fords, specifically Mustangs. Sort of like the whole "Shelby Charger". It is clever marketing, and Steve does hold a business degree if I am not mistaken, but for personal reasons I would like to see the six letters grace the back of a Mustang only.

When I fuel up my F-350 dually, I sometimes get the occasional self-righteous Prius driving hippie tell me that a truck like that is only for those who feel the need to overcompensate for something.

I guess under that theory, Chuck Norris drives a Metro.

Sad. They even with $49.5 billion, GM STILL had to use the assistance of Mr. Saleen to make a decent looking Chevrolet.

It kills me, cause those prius drivers are always speeding... so in the end, they are not doing any better than a normal econmy car, like a VW or Mazda.

Not bad looking but I really wish it looked a lot different from the stock mustang. It doesn't look like that much was changed aesthetically besides the hood.

I was hoping for something like the S197 mustangs where people would walk up to you on the street and have no idea it was a mustang. It was genuinely a saleen look.

What's next? Yenko Cobras? Dogs sleeping with cats? The apocolypse must be here. So, if anyone wants to sell me their Series V supercharger before the world ends, let me know (the wife doesn't need to know).
