That pic was taken just after I did the engine conversion. The gauges in the pod are the Saleen H2O temp and boost. They were not hooked up at the time. I have a Saleen fuel pressure gauge on the steering column, that to was not hooked up.

Thanks for noticing though, good eye!

Yes the airbags does work, well it is hooked up...

With a little cutting and welding it will fit. I took my old wheel and had the brass insert welded into the new one after cutting the long hex stem off. I wish I would have taken pics.

sounds good was just curious, after asking if the gauges worked i was interested in which ones they were. how did you get the fuel pressure to work? did you buy one off ebay? i see them there all the time but they dont come with the pieces to make them work.

Yes I bought the fuel pressure gauge off eBay, but when I bought it, it came with a bag of stuff since the guy didn't know what went with it.

It is easy to hook up though, and you can get the parts from Autometer.

To those that are interested in doing a 32V conversion here this is what I did and your results may very. This is not complete listing because your mods, parts and methods of installation may differ from mine.

This conversion is a 01 S/C 2V engine w/ T45 transmission to a 03 S/C 4V Cobra engine w/ T56 transmission.

1. 03 Cobra engine
2. T56 transmission
3. 03 Cobra drive shaft w/ rear flange changed
4. T56 transmission mount
5. All OEM wiring harnesses and PCM
6. Lengthen wires on certain sensors
7. FRPP injector adapters
8. Lengthen wire on transmission
9. 03 Cobra hoses for cooling w/ thermostat housing
10. Plumb the inter-cooler with existing Saleen pump and reservoir
11. 03 Cobra or GT Super Car fuel pumps.
12. Wire upgrade to the fuel pumps.
13. 03 Cobra fuel tank
14. Larger air filter
15. Change polarity on COP and lengthen wires
16. DYNO TUNE (Yes you can put a 03 Cobra tune on a 2V PCM)

This list is not complete because I am probably missing some things since it was last year when I did this.

If you have any other questions just ask I might be able to help you out.

Here is a pic of the wire upgrade I did. I wired it straight from the battery to a relay to ensure the FPDM gets a constant voltage of at least 13.5 or higher. Notice I also included another set of wires to the pumps to prevent voltage drop along the wires. Lethal Performance has a kit made up for this but you can make it yourself alot cheaper.

Oh and not pictured is the inertia switch wiring, instead of the ground going to the chassis (Blue wire on relay) it now runs though the inertia switch to ground out the pumps like OEM. On a Cobra it is wired back to the PCM with white wires.

Inside of trunk driver side:

Under passenger kick panel:

Ford Racing injector adapters (Black piece between the wire and injector).

If you remove the 5.0 badges. Swap the grill and taillight panels, you'd have something really close to the new SMS 302 White Label. A new model at or under 40K.

So I take it the wheel is aluminum and not magnesium then... good to know.
Which brass insert are you talking about, by the way? I scored a premium 2011 wheel earlier tonight, and would love to install it in my 1998. Did you wire up the switches as well?

The brass insert is in the old 99-04 wheel, I had it cut out of the an old one then the new wheel was modded to accept the brass insert. Yes the wires are wired up for the cruise.

Default Installation of my new 335/30/18R tires.

Here are some pics of my new tires, to stay true to the Saleen styling I put on some Perilli PZero Rosso.

Front are 265/35/18R on 18X9 Saleen rim.
Rear are 335/30/18R on a 18X11 Saleen rim.

Hard to see the tape measure but the tire is 13" wide.

Don't have any videos on Youtube that I know of. The seats are from a 03 Cobra but the headrests were done years ago and don't remember where I got them from.

Thanks for the compliments! The 05 steering wheel was easy if you can do some cutting and welding, LOL!

dont get me wrong, im sure those seats are comfortable, i hear it all the time from cobra owners, but MAN those seats look so boring in your saleen. the ones that came in the 03/04 look more sportier than them. If i were you id get some custom recaros or something that stands out more, those i will admit they look oem, i just feel the gray suede is so blan.

Thanks for your thoughts and that is just what they are. I like my seats that is why I put them in there. If I wanted to go with other peoples opinions I would post a thread and asked. I made the car the way I wanted it. Other Cobra owners can change their seats to what ever they want to so they are not "boring or bland", but I will keep mine. To understand your highlighted comment in the above, those seats are from a 03/04 Cobra just in case you didn't know that.

Oh by the way, White is such a boring color. You need to change it to something more stylish like Laser Red, Sonic Blue, Screaming Yellow, Torch Red, or even black. White is the absents of color, just like your comments.

But then again you are entitled to your opinions, Thanks again!!!!

Well since this is a saleen forum, and it is the 99-04 section, i was reffering to the 03/04 Saleen seating, the stock ford seats that saleen recovered. Maybe its just because of the headrest, but i like those seats over yours. I will admit the black on black 03/04 cobra seats look sick, as well as the 2003 cobra 10th anniversay seats. I've never heard of "touch red" what year did they make that color?

If you dont wanna hear comments on your car then why did you create your own thread? Everytime someone talks about supercharging their 2V saleen, or increasing horsepower, you post your engine and tell them "no problems here with my motor, or "maybe you should do what i did"... acting like no one has seen your car before, and offering them NO HELP to their actual issue.

BTW: you are welcome.

Maybe its just because of the headrest, but i like those seats over yours. I will admit the black on black 03/04 cobra seats look sick, as well as the 2003 cobra 10th anniversay seats. I've never heard of "touch red" what year did they make that color?
In the above you need to do more research because Saleen did not recover OEM seats. The seats were either left OEM or Recaro wrapped in Saleen covers and offered in other years. You need to spell check what you write before you talk about someone else's.

BTW: you are welcome.
I welcome all comments positive and negative. If you don't like how I respond to the comments then don't post any. I don't see you making a thread or posting anything about your car, what you did to it, pics, or anything. You probably don't know how to do anything on it anyways.

I have helped out alot of people on here, more then you know. When I talk about my conversion I am just giving a option that is available and how to do it.

Also I am not going to get into a pi$$ing contest on here with you since it is a waste of my time. Get over it because this is the last time I will respond to your comments.

Codered love your car. A lot of subtle touches, or would that be torches...lol, without going overboard. Classy. I for one have had tons of help from Codered, amongst others, and his help has been nothing short of spot on. Thanks again...
