to supercharge, or not to supercharge???
so i have an 07 s331-NA, and need some advice on whether or not to supercharge the engine. anyone have any advice on which supercharger to use? while i like the saleen twin screw, i can get more power from a few other brands (ford racing, procharger, magna charger, etc.) yet some of these say that they void the powertrain warranty. the last thing i want is to drop 6-7 grand in the engine and to have everything else start failing on me. any suggestions from someone who is more knowledgable than i am on this topic?

First of all I don't own a S331. But if your thinking about S/C'ing yours I would say you should not have a problem with it as long as you don't get over radical with it. If you keep it in the 450- 475 RWHP range you should be in goos shape. I would talk to JDM engineering and get their ideas on what to do. JDM is part of Saleen Speedlabs and I believe their work does NOT void warranties...but I would call them ask for Jim jr and find out from him exactally what is and what is not covered. We put a Whipple S/C w/intercooler on a friends California Special Mustang, im not totally positive on what type of HP he is getting...I think hes in the 450 range..plus he has a different rear end in it so his car REALLY came to life with the S/C. The S331's are awesome machines. have fun with it. and good luck
