State farm is fine...ask your agent to send you proof of the dollar amount of what the car is insured for. This way if the car is totaled out in an accident, then you have the initial value to begin with and not a mustang gt beginning at $25k. You need to have this in writing from the agent so that he cannot claim that he went by the vin # stating that the car came up a $25K mustang GT. Also give him a copy of the window sticker and make sure that he signs a piece of paper stating that he has recieved it from you for your records. Doing all of this will protect you. specialty insurance companies find more loopholes to not cover than they cover. They limit annual mileages and use of the car. This is the worst thing that you can do unless you plan on NOT driving your car. I insure vipers, ferraris and such due to the unlimited/restrictions of the car.
