Default Mystery Cruise in NC - March 19th, 2011

Who would be interested in going on a "mystery cruise?" The cruise would be in NC and will have a stop that will make any Mustang enthusiast smile. This cruise will be March 19 since that is an open month for NC/SC events. Don't ask me where, that's why it is called a "mystery cruise".

Details about the event:

Starting Location: Holman/Moody of Charlotte, NC

Meet time for Charlotte: 8:00 a.m.

Where will the cruise go: From Charlotte to Claremont to NC mountains. Basically, after we see the "Mustang Garage", we will be going to the NC mountains and getting lost somewhere up there so bring your GPS just in case.

What you need to bring with you:
  • Lunch Money
  • Full Tank of gas - it's about 250 miles before dinner
  • Dramamine in case you have a weak stomach
  • Patience in case we get lost
  • A mechanically sound car
  • Two way radios turned to channel 14
Who can join us:

We'd like to keep this an all Mustang and Ford event but we will not turn anyone away who wants to be a part of the cruise.

Where will it end (About 5:00 p.m.) :

The Untouchables - Burgers, Bakers, & Pizza Makers

Scott - I would be interested, but I tell ya if these gas prices keep going up (jumped .20 today) I might not do it. Only avg 11 - 12 mpg around here. Put me down and I will know better closer to the day.

We will probably not be back in Conover until 6. Remember with daylight savings time it will be light.

It’s called a “mystery cruise” because we do not want the word to get out as to where our route will take us. We’ll let you figure out why we want to do it this way. However, you’ll get a map once you meet up with the rest of us. Be sure to let us know if you are coming on the cruise so we will know to wait on you at our meet points. We would also like to know your phone number just in case you get separated from the party. Please send Mike Boyle your phone number and your intentions if you plan to cruise with us. You can get more details on the cruise, meet points, and free raffle at the end of the day by going to the SCMC forums at http://www.svtcobraclub.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=18129

Had a great time at the cruise-in. Sounds like you all had some fun coming from Charlotte. I was questioned at work today about all the Mustangs going down 16 S out of Wilkesboro toward Taylorsville. I said yep that must have been them. Great Food Scott! You have a great business going there! As I told you we will visit more often!

Here are few pics from my Blackberry...

Re: Lastly, the cost of living is low and North Carolina mountain property is fairly cheap at the moment. It certainly is a buyer's market in this day and age and anyone that has money to invest in property would be wise to do so now as the prices are low. Find a local realtor to help you find the land of your dreams in the mountains of North Carolina. Use one that has a good track record and will deliver property that meets your needs at an affordable price. mountain land
