Best Muffler for Side Exit
I have a 2005 SuperCrew that I am custom fitting the side exit exhaust system too. My question is what do you guys that have the side exhaust systems do and what is the best option for me. I have the complete saleen setup ready to use, but heard it was crap, so I want to use the side exit tips and use a different muffer or mufflers. I would like to take out the y-pipe and run true duals down between the frame and the body kit and put the muffler at the end next to the tips. Anyone done something similar that can help me out or any sugguestions would be great. Thanks, Jason.

I would think you would have a hard time fitting the muffler in between the frame and the body kit, plus I would also worry about hot spots that close to the body kit, since the muffler is larger than your pipe, it would be much closer to the body kit (Possible Melting of the Plastic, or Bubbling the paint) If you can find some pics of the S331 Setup installed you will see that it almost hugs the frame. I am planing on changing mine out to true duals eventually, but will probably run Corsa Mufflers.
