Default Fog light install?

I was wondering if anyone has done a custom fog light install on the lower bumper opening? Sort of like the Eleanor style. I was thinking of mounting the bracket to the lower part, but wasnt sure if it would crack or hold up, and then saw the frame above, but would need a long bracket for the lights. And then wiring it in with the stock fog lights. Thanks in advance

I've seen some interesting driving light/ fog light/ rally bars used by the New Mini owners. If nothing else, maybe some engineering inspiration can come from a look at one of those.

Keep us updated. I want to do something also, if only for more of a daytime running lights so people see me coming. My car is Tungsten Grey so it doesn't really stick out in traffic.
