Default SA10 intake i think i have one?

Hello i have just signed on because im looking for info on a uper and lower intake i have. i was told it was off a SA10. it looks like a holly intake but it says "saleen/vortech" on the top of it and it has the bungs on the right upper intake for fuel injectors(there not driled out but there there). what is it? iv never seen a SA10 before so i dont know if its truly off a SA10. if so how rare is this intake? or is it not?

The link does not work.

Saleen had two versions of the intake you are describing. The one that says "Saleen on top and is darker grey is the brass ring of foxbody intakes as most feel that way. Came on SA-10's and some SC cars.

The intake you have most likely is the Saleen/Vortech version, slightly different (volume) that you could purchase from Saleen at the time. Some have the extra injector ports, some do not. The other intake says "Vortech" on it only and is identical to the intake you have. The lower is just a truck lower. You will know if the lower came from Saleen because they grinded the Ford part nums off. SOme people grind the numbers off and try to passs off the lower but the truth is it's the same lower.

Default intake sa10

ok. the intake i have says saleen and vortech right underneeth it and the ford numbers are not ground off the lower. how much is it worth? would it be worth puting on my car? i was thinking about drilling out the injector holes and useing it the way saleen did in the sa10 would that hurt the valaue of it?

I wouldn't modify it.

It is worth putting on a real Saleen. I have one new in the box with a Fox Lake race weld and port job. (still in the bubble wrap). Have been offered one large for it.

In good shape these intakes that say saleen and vortech under it go on ebay in the $600 range. These intakes were not used on sa 10s, but the sumilar one that only says saleen was. Sa 10s do not have the extra injector holes drilled out on them, at least not the three sa 10s I have seen....
