Q: Rear end sag inquiry?
Gents,
I have noticed a rear end sag on the driver that’s about 1/4 “ lower than rear passenger side. The eibach pro springs along with new shocks were installed last year. The sag was more noticeable before the suspension swap. The only other thing that was replaced a while back were LCAs. What could be causing this sag even after a complete suspension swap? Could it be the culprit of the LCAs? Regards, Lou R. 99-0310 S281 SC Approx 88k miles |

rear sag
The rear sag to one side is a common thing actually with the 79-04 platform. Could be one of a number of things, but a good place to start is to make sure you have your isolators in if you are using them, also, I believe the tail end of the springs are both supposed to point backwards...and no matter the mileage, the bushings front and rear (upper/lower) should be changed out to at least stock or poly where possible. Something I actually have to still do for the rear of my car. Should get you closer to spec. Good Luck let us know what you find.
