Default new saleen

And so we have a eh-hem' new Saleen. The Tesla based FourSixteen, One can only imagine that number represents its power output. but from what ive read there hasnt been much tweaks to the power plant. After all Saleen isnt versed in electric power. (hey i could be wrong) But moreso are the esthetic revisions to the vehicle, and to be quite honest.. i dunno if im sold. The stock testla is a very good looking car. with just enough futurism in its design to let you know this is something special. The Saleen design sorta pulls away from that with a more traditional car design feel, as if we've seen the design theme time and time again. and infact we have, in the form of the mclaren mp4-12c. Its a very generic sports design. Even the mclaren was seen as a bit standard a bit boring. The same goes for the rear of the 416, dunno i just see dodge back there. Now those are just my opinions. but the kicker to me is the price. $150,000 !!!! when the stock version retails for $69,000 !!! thats alot bone for front and rear facia's with some seats and stearing wheel skinz. sure i can be a bit harsh in my view and completely wrong. one does need to see these things in person before judging. but at least in the form of style i think saleen couldve done far better. still im glad theres action at saleen. but inorder to stay afloat they have to produce there own vehicle. something along the lines of a corvette c7, and at the same value. or simply the old saleen we come to know and love is now merly another nip and tuck shop like mansory.1408293038001-s2.JPG
