Looks great Wyatt! Its our #1 recommended hood, glad you picked one up! The next time you go to the track you will def feel that downforce I was telling you about and your underhood temps will drop considerably.
Congrats!

Thanks Jason, From all the research Ive done on this hood it will reduce the engine bay temp and engine operating temp. The hood will reduce lift in the front end, but no one will commit to the statement of generating down force.
Thanks, Wyatt

I think the issue is the terminology.....reducing lift is the same as downforce. But Paul Brown told my tech verbatum that they knew it was 80lbs at 100+mph. Eitherway, your going to LOVE IT! I just wish there were some profit in their parts...then atleast we could discount to racers like you! Time to get you a torque arm!

I wish You had the data to back that up. When I called Tiger, they stated the tests were to expensive to run and they had no data to support the claim. If it is true than great.

Looks great... and I bet it will help underhood temps and the raising hood at speed.

Beautiful Wyatt. I was hoping you would paint the vents black, but I really like the clean look of all silver now that I have seen it installed. That hood looks right at home on an Extreme.

Sorry for the ignorance, but that's how the hood is shipped with the vents unfinished on the other side? Why do they do that?

I can't answer that, My best guess would be because it was designed for on
the track use.

So do I need to do what you did or can it just be painted as is?

The top of the hood will need very little prep work by your painter. The underside can be shot without issue. The paint would be going over resin. I have seen several of these hoods where the underside was actually laid up very well. Mine was not, so I fixed it.
There are allot of benefits you will get with this hood. Weight reduction, Engine temp drop, etc.
