Default S331 Truck suspension question, ride height?

Does anyone know if Saleen lowered the S331 trucks and if so by how much?

I'm looking to lower my truck about 1/1.5 inches but I'm not sure what kit to buy since I'm unsure of the trucks current suspension height from stock.

Thanks,
Jason

I asked the same question awhile back when trying to correct the pinion angle issue (which Im sure your truck has too!). I was told that the truck is actually about 2" HIGHER than the stock FX2. If you ever see one in a parking lot stop by and compare. Im sure it has something to do with the 23" rims. If you look at your pinion Im sure it is nose-up (which isnt good) - that is usually indicative of a truck that has been RAISED. Just a thought.

Default Problem solved or shoud I say, "Question Answered'

I bought a drop kit that consisted on a +1" to -3" drop shock for upfront, 2" drop shackle with shocks and a rear anti-sway bar.

I dropped the front by -1 inch under stock. Front wheelwell height went from 35" to 34".
After installing the 2" inch rear drop shackle and sway bar. I netted a 1.75inch drop. The Rear wheelwell height went from 36" to 34.25"

The ride is incredible, the rear end is alot stiff but more controlled/stable.
The look is amazing as well, I got exactly what I wanted.

I'll put some pics under my info.....

Default what kit I used

I went all Belltech. I used their drop shocks in the front. In the rear, I replaced the shackle, shocks and installed a sway bar; the only sway bar that I could find by the way.
Good quality stuff also.

Default load handling?

Well I'm not sure how to anwer that, only because I don't haul anything big or heavy to test that fact and besides that I just completed the drop last Thursday.

But....I will say this, from what I know about load / hauling capacities on trucks. The truck retains it's stock rear springs. The rear leaf springs being a limiter from my understanding. The Rear shackle and shock are heavy duty stuff as well.

I've seen company's selling lowering kits, promoting the fact that the load capacity remains the same, for the same reasons I listed above.

I'm not worried about load capacity on my truck for what I use it for. The only thing I haul is azz. ;)

Hey man do you have the part numbers for the belltech kit you used? Apparently there are a couple different ones. Thanks

Default Belltech part numbers

Belltech Lowering / Lifting Shocks (BEL25001)
Belltech Shackles and Hangers (BEL6406)
Belltech Street Performance Shocks (BEL2213EE)
Belltech Swaybars (BEL5548)

I'd suggest checking out Stillen.com, best prices I could find.
