The red one was a Pedders 2010 development car. It existed as a custom Mustang GT before the relationship with MJA/Revstone. After the MJA relationship was established, the car was retrofitted with a body kit and a Saleen Series VI Supercharger.

I made note of the car, but I do not have the VIN and there is no evidance of serial plates.

Similarly, the 2010 Brenspeed drag car existed before the MJA/Revstone relationship. After the MJA relationship was established, the car was styled as a 435S and serialized with plates. This car was eventually updated with a complete body kit when it became available. What I do not know is... was the Brenspeed car listed as a 435S or was the record updated to an S281.

Vin# 1zvbp8cf7b5154906 sold a few months ago at Copart Action with a Michigan scrap title. It went to United Arab. I think it sold for $14,000. You can google vin to see pictures.I will try to post some. When I get a chance. Not very good with computers. Car is 2011 Kona blue.

Before Car was sold at Copart it was sold at IAA insurance Auction. At IAA Insurance Auction car had right rear quarter damage also. I think they started to repair and found out that it was not possible to get a rebuilt title. I am thinking that's the reason it was back in auction at Copart. Not for sure though? I was very interested in this car but could not find of a way to retitle car.

It was a "Mustang Week" Special Edition 2 of 2.

Looks like the White 2011 PAS Car #18 was or is up for sale. Has 4978 miles on it. Not sure as it is not listed in the cars that he currently has listed for sale/sold. May be an old ad.

I also saw new #42, SEMA Vert with 150 miles on it, for sale at Eide Ford in North Dakota back in July of 2012. It was the only matte black one that I can recall. They were asking $64,990.

I purchased the 2011-3 (storm trooper) waiting for winter to end and I will upload newer photos. This car was raided for parts for there sema car . The matte black has the entire interior , supercharger - strut tower brace. Saying that it has the only custom interior "Katskins Seats " with really cool micro design. So I would like to try and get back that supercharger and strut brace. Let em know if anyone has info on those parts.

I believe there may be a current owner of a 2010-12 Michigan car with a spare interior. The owner I am thinking of might be a fella' with the white 2012 coupe currently on eBay. Or, I recall someone looking to store a spare interior. Not sure if they were able to purchase these items from Michigan.

I believe I can recall seeing photos of the white 2011 convertible with a PowerTech / Saleen Series VII supercharged. This car was liquidated to a dealer running a Ford Racing unit. I believe the matte black SEMA car also ran a Ford Racing supercharger.

There is a chance that the Ford Racing supercharger and the Chicane/ Saleen strut brace interfere. Meaning you will have to choose one or the other.

Dave you are indeed correct, they removed the strut tower brace to make way for the supercharger and when they eventually removed it to put it on the sema car they did not put the strut tower brace back in. I also learned the 21century performance purchased all the reaming braces from the chicane estate sale. I have a call into them and I am hoping to still find that part. If you are near or have a better contact I would appreciate your efforts.

I also have queried SALEEN on Authenticating my vehicle and have not heard word one back. I am hoping its due to the massive workload and not that my car is a Troy based car. Do you have any insight on approximately how long it takes to get a call back from SALEEN. Just curious.

And, by the way, in the end, the consumer should not have to pay for the legal battles that may exist between the two companies. At the time, we bought Saleen brand products in good faith regardless of the legalities involved. I feel that for those purchasers have been left out. I agree that it was sad that all the legal issues had to go down that way. However, there still should be some level of support provided if no other reason in that it carries the Saleen brand name.

The challenge comes into play when people bought an MJ/Revstone car during the time that Steve Saleen had a lawsuit filed against them -- anyone knowingly doing so, should have known better to not get mixed up in that, and probably should have passed, unless they simply wanted what the car offered.

Anyone unkowingly purchasing a car during that time, thinking they were purchasing a genuine "Steve Saleen Saleen" is an unfortunate victim.

Time may heal all this... but as of now it is what it is.

Anyone crying for an LOA because they want to sell their MJ/Revstone car should perhaps think twice about selling their car... not an ideal situation.

Back to the topic... Dave is trying to collect information on these cars, so please let's get back to that.

That's pretty much why I bought mine. That and the fact that, no offense to anyone who owns an SMS, I think the MJA/Revstone car looks better than the SMS. The year 2007 saw the departures of Phil Frank (designer), Steve Saleen (founder), Billy Tally (engineering), John Spruill (engineering). Saleen, Inc merged with ASC during the spring/summer of 2007. Saleen executive positions were filled by ASC personnel with the remainder of Saleen staying course.

Saleen, Inc slowly closed during late 2008 with multiple employee layoffs. When HP sold Saleen assets in February 2009, a percentage personnel that worked for “Saleen, Inc” had moved to positions with Techco while most everyone else began new adventures.

After February 2009, MJA did rehire former Saleen sales, quality control and warranty personnel to fill similar or newly opened positions. The 2010-2012 MJA/Revstone production cars were designed by David Byron, former ASC designer, and were produced by Alternative Automotive. It is unclear whether ASC still exists. They may not have survived the collapse.

Alternative Automotive was founded by executives from Saleen Special Vehicles (SSV).

Revstone went into bankruptcy amongst multiple accusations of fraud. There were lists of unhappiness regarding their “family of companies.”

Trademarks for the “S” logo, “Saleen,” “Speedlab,” fonts etc… returned under the control of Steve Saleen during 2012.

I once read that three 2012 editions were produced. Has anyone else heard or read a similar remark?

I would believe most of the automatic equipped vehicles were ordered and exported to Mustang Australia.

Am I mistaken... or were both the 11-0037 and 11-0042 cars equipped with Ford Racing Superchargers? I have a suspicion 11-0037 at one time had the prototype PowerTech supercharger.
