I once read that three 2012 editions were produced. Has anyone else heard or read a similar remark?

I would believe most of the automatic equipped vehicles were ordered and exported to Mustang Australia.

Am I mistaken... or were both the 11-0037 and 11-0042 cars equipped with Ford Racing Superchargers? I have a suspicion 11-0037 at one time had the prototype PowerTech supercharger.

I am missing an estimated 16 cars. So, I would like to keep our eyes active when owner's announce having a 2011-12 Michigan car or when we see them for sale.

We'll have to wait and see what the final color breakdowns are for 2013 and 2014 to see if anyone ordered a Grabber Blue S302 or S351 convertible. From 2010-12 there were no GB convertibles assembled in Corona.

Jarred, thank you VERY much on this information. In theory I only need to find one more 2012 Michigan car. I moved the Sterling Grey convertible listed to my 2011 chart since an image of this vehicle (or one very similar to it) appeared in a 2011 group photo in Michigan.


Yes, 10-0007 was the Jess Albright demo. Currently on AutoTrader.com.

Except for the production information on a black 2010 435S convertible, and the particulars on the sterling gray 2010 Benspeed drag car, I believe I may have the 2010 production cars nailed down.

The red one was a Pedders 2010 development car. It existed as a custom Mustang GT before the relationship with MJA/Revstone. After the MJA relationship was established, the car was retrofitted with a body kit and a Saleen Series VI Supercharger.

I made note of the car, but I do not have the VIN and there is no evidance of serial plates.

Similarly, the 2010 Brenspeed drag car existed before the MJA/Revstone relationship. After the MJA relationship was established, the car was styled as a 435S and serialized with plates. This car was eventually updated with a complete body kit when it became available. What I do not know is... was the Brenspeed car listed as a 435S or was the record updated to an S281.

Vin# 1zvbp8cf7b5154906 sold a few months ago at Copart Action with a Michigan scrap title. It went to United Arab. I think it sold for $14,000. You can google vin to see pictures.I will try to post some. When I get a chance. Not very good with computers. Car is 2011 Kona blue.

Before Car was sold at Copart it was sold at IAA insurance Auction. At IAA Insurance Auction car had right rear quarter damage also. I think they started to repair and found out that it was not possible to get a rebuilt title. I am thinking that's the reason it was back in auction at Copart. Not for sure though? I was very interested in this car but could not find of a way to retitle car.

Referencing the information Ted posted above, it appears two vehicles featured the prototype, 5 spoke, polished, forged wheels. Same wheels featured on the yellow SEMA car.

If the quarter panel was repaired in above photos, do both front fenders look repaired / replaced as well? They look too nice for a frontal impact, the S302 fender emblems are missing, and I do not believe I see the OE alignment holes used for the 5.0 emblem.

Dave when the car was purchased from first Auction IAA it had more damage shown. The right front suspension was loose hanging from car. I will try do find pictures. You may do also by googling vin # if they are out there still on the internet.

I was told by Jess Albright that someone had originally ordered the grabber blue convertible, then just as they were about to deliver it, changed the order to a Kona Blue coupe... I'm wondering if this is that car?

I also saw new #42, SEMA Vert with 150 miles on it, for sale at Eide Ford in North Dakota back in July of 2012. It was the only matte black one that I can recall. They were asking $64,990.

I purchased the 2011-3 (storm trooper) waiting for winter to end and I will upload newer photos. This car was raided for parts for there sema car . The matte black has the entire interior , supercharger - strut tower brace. Saying that it has the only custom interior "Katskins Seats " with really cool micro design. So I would like to try and get back that supercharger and strut brace. Let em know if anyone has info on those parts.

I believe there may be a current owner of a 2010-12 Michigan car with a spare interior. The owner I am thinking of might be a fella' with the white 2012 coupe currently on eBay. Or, I recall someone looking to store a spare interior. Not sure if they were able to purchase these items from Michigan.

I believe I can recall seeing photos of the white 2011 convertible with a PowerTech / Saleen Series VII supercharged. This car was liquidated to a dealer running a Ford Racing unit. I believe the matte black SEMA car also ran a Ford Racing supercharger.

There is a chance that the Ford Racing supercharger and the Chicane/ Saleen strut brace interfere. Meaning you will have to choose one or the other.

Dave you are indeed correct, they removed the strut tower brace to make way for the supercharger and when they eventually removed it to put it on the sema car they did not put the strut tower brace back in. I also learned the 21century performance purchased all the reaming braces from the chicane estate sale. I have a call into them and I am hoping to still find that part. If you are near or have a better contact I would appreciate your efforts.

I also have queried SALEEN on Authenticating my vehicle and have not heard word one back. I am hoping its due to the massive workload and not that my car is a Troy based car. Do you have any insight on approximately how long it takes to get a call back from SALEEN. Just curious.

Saleen Automotive Inc in Corona CA does not have production records for the 2010-12 vehicles produced in Michigan.

They will run your VIN and serial number against the Corona cars they produced in 2011 and will come back as "not a Saleen."

This disclaimer appeared on the forum shorty after the 2012 announcement of Steve Saleen reclaiming the Saleen brand.

Michigan-built cars from 2010-2012 with the Saleen name are not recognized as authentic Saleen vehicles by Saleen Automotive in California.

Documentation may exist in Michigan, with the family of companies that were under Revstone, but Saleen Automotive will not be able to authenticate, give color, option, body style figures since they do not have production records for these vehicles.

The company that produced 2010-12 Michigan cars is out-of-business.

You are asking Saleen Automotive to authenticate a vehicle they do not have records to. Even if they produced LOAs for Michigan vehicles without having an inventory list, they would include no production information and most likely need an explanation or backgrounder as to the history of these vehicles.

Dave you do a fantastic job I thank you for all your efforts!! The answer is yes - it is entirely possible to put this together based on owners and there passions for these vehicles. The customer is always right and I don't now the exact numbers of vehicles but based on what I know a list wouldn't that that hard to come up with. I believe there is something else going on here. All I know is that I have a SALEEN and if it looks like a duck walks like a duck and quacks like a duck its a duck. Man up and do what's right to the owners of these vehicles.

On the enthusist side, yes. At this point, I believe I am missing details on fourteen 2010-12 Michigan cars. I do not believe I am missing details for more than 20 units.

Records or an account of 2010-2012 Michigan cars appear to exist. In Michigan. Unless the second-hand info I attain from owners of these vehicles are receiving production info from the memories of former MJA/Revstone employees.

The Saleen Inc inventory and vehicle database remains in Michigan. When Saleen Automotive produces a current LOA from California, the material comes from historic physical documentation.
