Try lubricating the pulley. Did your belt have any dry rotting? Did you inspect it for condition?

I guess I should explain a bit more...
I think my friend and I figured it out...the aluminum spacer/washer that the idler arm came with didn't fit on the male stem (where the OEM pulley) goes on...so we sanded it down on the inside of the washer for it to fit, but I think we shouldn't have down that because I think it was suppose to be a snug tight fit, and not to move or spin. Therefore when I rev the engine or boost, it's proabably spinning, and making that screeching noise, metal on metal. you think that could be it? I can't see why I'd have to lube the pulley when it was fine before with the OEM arm. More background info: I actually intended to install my 3.6" pulley, with my MoSaleen kit, and upr idler tensioner, but that all came to a stopping halt because when I took off the tamper-proof seal on my stock 3.8" pulley, one of the allen key bolts was already stripped (from Factory) arrrrrggggh!!!!!! We tried everything to get it off, vice-grip, weld a bolt on to wrench it off (but it wouldn't bond), and grid a slot so we could try to screw it off with a flathead screwdriver...but not success So, 3 hours later, I figured, lets just install the UPR arm for now (because it looks nicer than the OEM), until I figure out how to get that stripped (hacked-up) allen key bolt off the pulley.. The other 3 bolts are fine... any one have suggestions on how to take off a stripped bolt off the pulley? Also, what is the exact OEM size of the pulley bolt, I'll need to pick-up some extras...
