How can we get ahold of anyone to get this catalog or to get parts.....I have 89 ssc #32. Found it dying in a field. It was as green as the grass. Seats need to be redone or new seats. The center caps are also missing. Let me know please. Thanks

I would prolly get on the phone with Saleen and find out when this will happen. This is going to be a fun task in finding all the vendors that made all these parts. Then getting them all into production again for how many cars left? I would love to see it happen, but the parts will most likely be expensive because of the costs involved. I will definitely be subscribing to this thread.

Get out your old magazines from 2006 and look at the Saleen ads. They were saying the same thing.
When I went to the big Birmingham, AL Mustang Club of America convention in Sept 2006, Saleen had a large display with cars and parts. I asked a Saleen rep. about the ads concerning the early parts being brought back. He confirmed that they would. Well, that was six years ago. Did anybody ever see any parts come back?
I guess it doesn`t hurt to dream, but don`t get peoples hopes up and then do nothing.
I hope it is different this time, but realisticly I don`t see them making many parts for the old cars.

Keep in mind, one year after your MCA event, the SALEEN company started to change direction.

HPA and ASC wanted Saleen to become a larger manufacturer / subcontractor to the automotive industry. The serialized Saleen vehicles were going to take a smaller role... more so when the economy dumped.

I would also be realistic with my expectations as to what will be offered.

Accurate body kits, spoilers and decal kits for the various models and years should keep folks happy for a bit.

You also have to figure... how much accuracy are you willing to trade for a new replacement part from Saleen?

Anyone get an update from Saleen for a time frame? I'm hopeful, but remain realistic that it is probably not going to happen.

that seems like a lot of money to put on the 84-93 market, especially for a company that just went out of business, even if steve didnt fully own it when it did. i can understand a few things such as floormats and maybe body parts, but seats and wheels? yikes...

We'll keep you all posted as to any updates, but the latest word indicates that I wouldn't expect vintage parts for some time.

I hope the general Mustang community and folks into personalization embrace current and future Saleen parts offerings. Larger markets will equate to more stock and more items.

I dont think it will matter to much the fox body revolution is over there are very few on the road these days ,and most purest dont want a fake saleen but its nice to see new parts again.. i rather see seats and wheels but likely that will never happen.

Both seats and wheels were sourced parts from other vendors. Who knows if the wheel molds even exist. And flofit material hasn't been made in years! Don't see those coming available. But I would think other parts would follow.
