Default Question: Do I have 4-Lug Saleen wheels?

HI all. I just bought an 81 T-Top from my friend and the car is a clone. It has the 4-lug riken wheels on it. He was told by the guy he bought it from 10 years ago that the wheels are off a saleen. I was just wondering if anyone could help me out to see if they really are or not.

Thanks,
Bob

If they are 16x7 they are the Rikens used on late '85 and '86 Saleens.

They are the 16's. Any idea what they might be worth? i'm planning on switching back to a 15" wheel. I would be interested in selling them. Or trading them for a set of weld wheels or anything along those lines.

If they have flat top laces, then they use to be a machined set of Rikens and I believe it has been thought there was only one or two 1986 Saleen Mustangs equipped with the machined 16x7 Riken wheels.

If the lace tops are somewhat curved than they are correct for a percentage of 1986 Saleens.

I sold a set of five, flat top, machined 16x7 Rikens for like $400.00. New owner recleared the wheels, mounted BFGs and placed them on eBay.

I would consider staying in the 16" realm. Maybe a set of 1991-93 Pony wheels, if you're on a budget. A cast wheel will be stronger then the Rikens.
