Where to find: Off road H-Pipe
I have the stock saleen exhaust and it’s to quite. I really don’t want to change the center exhaust, so I thought I would just get an off road H or X pipe and leave the mufflers alone. But it’s starting to look like no one sells them anymore. Seems like all the mid pipes have cats!! WTF... I guess the EPA must have cracked down on the manufacturers.

Have you looked at any of the companies that sell parts for road racing Ford Mustangs?
Many road race / dedicated track cars do not run cat-converters. |

Thanks, but I want to get rid of the cats. That pipe is just a cut and clamp. Doesn’t accomplish what I’m trying to do. I need a pipe that hooks to the stock exhaust manifolds and has no cats in it.

That’s strange. Everyone used to carry the off road pipes for Mustangs. I did find this from up here in Canada but it’s the only one I could find. It’s almost free for you guys in the states with the exchange rate.

Word on the street is that the EPA is clamping down on selling non emissions parts for street cars. Maybe it’s the same in Canada
