Sweet ride! The Saleen looks clean!!!

Must have a hard time keeping it clean with all the housing going up around.

It sits in the garage, plus the other end that you can't see of the street is clean.

Do other Canadian S197 Saleen Mustangs feature a corporate url decal on the rear window?

Dave yes! Only coupes though, not convertibles though because back window is too small. Reason, because the "SALEEN" banner on the front windshield is technically illegal in some provinces.

I know, it still doesn't make sense because my convertible has the front banner and so does his.

Ive seen a Canadian Saleen in Ontario with no front banner and only the rear window URL address

I think he is referring to the air vents being silver. Most are black. Welcome to SOEC btw!

Thank you for the explanation!

I also find the Canadian Saleen Mustang interesting because of these production differences.

The silver vents are a great catch. We have also seen Canadian produced S197 Saleen Mustangs without the interior IUP package. Yes, these Saleens have the plastic Ford dash and rubber steering wheel. In the US, if Saleen Inc acquired a conversion chassis without the IUP package... they installed the MyColor, door panels, and aluminum fascias.

If we view the vehicle above, this Saleen also features what we know as the 2005 shift knob. The US produced Saleens went with the leather wrapped version in 2006-08.

This one does have the my colour option for the dash cluster lights and Saleen aluminum kick plates in the door jam. The dash looks very close to aluminum but I think it is plastic.

Lucky me, one month left on powertrain warranty and I need the rear diff clutch pack replaced. Seems to be moaning as described in the TSB related to this issue.

I just got done waxing my 2000 Ford Mustang that I'm getting ready to sell, I think I need to buy a buffer now. I forgot how much work went into waxing. But hey, that 2000 looks great. Now on to the Saleen. Question though...what should I do to clean my wheels in between my washes? (Just to maintain them.)

Nice pics! Love the color and the rims, did you notice that you have the red PZero logo on the front tires but not on the rear? Must have replaced the rears at one time or the logo is on the inside. Just curious because you can't see it in your pics. Awesome car though!

Yah I noticed that too, there is no red logo on the rear tires at all inside or outside. The rear tires need replacing soon anyways.

Dunno what everyone else uses, but I had some metal polish around the house called "Peek" and it worked great. You can pick it up at your local hardware store.

We have an aging thread about the tire logos and what their absents signify. Offhand, can't recall.

I wash wheels regularly with car wash soap. To keep the brake dust off. The Mothers PowerCone or PowerBall with the recommended polish is a speedy choice as well (after washing the wheels).
