Q: R-Code S351 designation?

During the time between 1995-1996 Saleen S-351s were available with the R code option giving the cars a big brake upgrade and superchager being the bigger components. Were all 97-98 S-351s considered R codes since they come standard with those options?

I would not call the 1997-00 S351 models an "R-code."

1994 there technically wasn’t a R code package. 95-96 Saleen came out with the “R code” package which consisted of supercharger, 13” front brakes, gauge pod (with fuel pressure and boost pressure), and diff gear iirc. 97-00 it became standard so I wouldn’t really consider it to be an option package since it was standard.
