05-061 Saleen S7 wrecked on eBay

Saw 2005 S-7 on ebay only yellow twin turbo made, It was tied down imporperly and came off the trailer while driving. The driver had to put the brakes on and let the S-7 hit the back of the truck to stop it. Broken front glass, passanger light cover, and fender damaged, rear all scratched up. Ins. paid 380,000.00 and he is wanting 200,000.00 reserve and it would have a salvage title.. wow.

Now insurance companies aren't usually stupid. If they paid out $380k, that means that the calculated damage would cost more than that to repair. If it really is just a "little cosmetic damage", that could be fixed for a reasonable sum, wouldn't the insurance company have picked the cheaper option and had it repaired?

Still, I would love to own it! Knock off a zero and I am there !

Ya thats what im trying to say, ? on any other damage then seen.
+ 380,000 + 200,000 = 580,000 that is what the 2008 S-7 twin turbos were going for, does anyone know what the 2005 retail price was?
I thought it was 450ish...
At Barett Jackson a twin turbo S-7 went for 250ish thousand mint cond.
This guy just from ins. has come out unreal...
