I thought Fore went out of business. Meaning they are not producing anything.

My understanding is Fore went out of business as the partners were no longer able to work together. I believe it is now under one person as Fore Innovations. There is a web site and I received a response requesting the Saleen rails. I was asked to obtain permission from Saleen to produce a set.

You should draft a message to Saleen.

I have emailed Jess and PM'd him with no response. I will call him today and see what I need to do. It would be great for Saleen owners to once again have the opportunity to purchase this product.

Thanks Dave...

This is awesome news!!!! I did not know this happened! We will get our account setup right away!

I was previously told that Saleen wouldn't remake the rails because there wasn't enough demand for them in quantitys. How many people would want a set?

Jason; you know I am in! I think some other resellers were looking as well. Sounded like they had a lot of inquiries.

I spoke with Jess; he indicated I should get in touch with Molly for authorization. It sounded like Saleen (Revstone) may have gotten burned on an order back when the Fore Precision was dissolving prior to Fore Innovations.

Jason; is this something you can drive and we can order from 281 or Saleen? I know JDM was selling the kit back in the day with cross-over and all complete.

Keep us informed!

Yes, as a Speedlab Center we can get it done, but it has to be in numbers. Thats why I need to know how many would commit? Im sure we could get them at the same $299 as before.

The first step is retaining approval from Saleen. The original Fore/Saleen logo rails were produced through MJ.

It does seem 'Saleen' and family plan to secure their logos and identifying trademarks. I would not recommend over-stepping beyond the above inquiry.

Dave, I'm sorry...maybe I wasn’t as clear as I should have been. I know the steps we would need to take to work with Saleen as we always do and hopefully get these made again. But without the demand, none of it is worth perusing that’s why I was gauging the interest.

Oren, its all a matter of use. 600+ to the ground would be a "useful" prereq. But even then depending on the use it may not help you. The intent of fuel rails is to have additional supply of fuel on tap when your jamming through the gears, usually in a race setting. There are some theory’s that they help keep the fuel cooler, but that IMO has never been substantiated.

However, they look COOL as hell!

If its redone then update it. The SALEEN can be bigger & longer and move the drivers flag over as its current location is blocked from view once installed.

Im just sayin....

Hey Jason; how many "interested parties" will it take? I will do some "campaigning" if need be! I know there were a lot of people inquiring with some of the resellers in the past. Just need to let them know the opportunity exists...

The Fore/Saleen fuel rails are a must for all 2005+ SC owners! If you have ever seen a hood up with them on they totally finish off the SC appearance. Anyone that is proud to lift there hood and show off thier Saleen "package" has to have a set....I do recommend a steel braided cross-over to dress it up...

If you already have a set installed please post pictures for all to see...

Jason; are we even close?????

Hey, I recognize that port job! I've only got a few emails to be honest. I've already got calls placed and waiting to speak to Saleen and have a phone meeting with fore this morning. I will keep you in the loop.

Thanks Jason; hoping to keep this thread alive for those who don't frequent the site regularly...I had spoken to other resellers a while back and they ALL indicated people were contacting them for the rails...I am sure there are people out there still looking for them...just need to spread the word!

That looks great. I was curious what the polished ones looked like installed.

Maybe Jason can get us all in a group buy and save a few $$$ for the first batch ;-)

We had about 3 or 4 serious people email and inquire that they wanted a set. We're still pushing forward though.

The dipstick tubes will prob ship next week sometime.

Depending on timing I would want a Black set of Rails! They are beautiful.

No they dont Scott....although I am most Positive 281MS can set you up with them.
Drake makes a nice setup for it but you have to swap out the AN couplers.

Think about snagging a fuel pressure gauge too - as they fit right on one of the two extra 1/8" inlets.

Sooo count on an additional $200 or so for the line setup. It should be less than that but not to far off.

Hopefully Jason will put togehter a "kit" like JDM did when they were selling them...if memory serves me it was complete with all the bells and whistles...including a steel braided crossover tube...something like the attachment....

Lets get this rolling Jason!!!!
