Barricade, my buddy was in town visiting and I made him watch Transformers on Bluray this weekend. I was telling him about your car. Beautiful. On the bluray, if you pause it just right, you can see the flying S on the movie car. Good job at getting everything down.

My only question is how do you drive around with POLICE and 911 on it? Don't you get stopped?

Because I am a Police Officer. I cleared it through both my department and its legal, staff,
the state police and the district attorney's office. The only violation is Impersonating an Officer and I am one so there is no violation.

You gotta have someone with credentials and the ability to do this, coupled with someone nutter enough to do it. Its a perfect storm. lol

Seeing kids (AND ADULTS) faces light up when I go by makes it all worth it.

I cant tell you how many cell phones I see come out and snap pix when Im beside them in traffic.

The oober cool thing is I can actually run escorts (not the ladies) with the car.
Funerals or processions...parades etc legally.

So when Mustangfest comes through I can lead them with lights blazzing all the way to Mustang Island....if im asked.

Im still shocked Saleen wont even give me a banner to fly for them at the event.
Oh well....

Some Saleen owners are getting together at a big show in Oct (~25th) in San Antonio. It's an open show but don't recall the location or organizer/host off the top of my head. Hope to see yours there!

The pushbumper is next but lowering it is on the list. So is a brake kit.

As for the police interceptor badging - isnt that cool?? Thats an actual Ford part.

Its on the spoiler. If you mean move it to the wing we tried it there and it did not look as good. Its kinda subdued where its at. Also Ford mounts them to the trunks.



The original didnt have that. I just thought it to cool to leave off. Like the Gas lid.

The wing already has POLICE on it....its kinda hard to see in the shots....oh here is craptacular cell phone shot I took the other day when I had them out of the garage...it illustrates the wing art.



but....Im really trying to stay true to the original though.

Welding the trim (currently tacked) next...
Fabin up mounting bracket in the AM and prolly the rest of the weekend. lol

Once its mounted I will tac in tubes then pull the assembly and weld it up.

Plan is for it to go to powdercoating on Monday. I have 7 days left!

It's not a serialized S281. Silver interior vents, black window switch plates and Ford seating.

The center vent is a 2007 PJ leftover, correct? Neat item.

after further review this is a diffrent car isnt it??? Says "get the 411" not call 911..also says Saleen instead of Police...

This one belongs to a Stangpede member. Notice the HID lighting and the "411" graphic on the quarter panels. Little things like the door handle treatment as well.

I wonder, has the Stangpede member seen this car?? I like barricade's car better especially once the push bar is installed that will put it over the top.

Its not emailing me saying this post was replied to.....aarrrggggg....
now what were the questions? Oh yes....its not a S281...but its getting there.

SIgnatures...yes...left over PJ purchased from Saleen.

Mine is a replica...

Pushbumper is on and powdercoated.



Here it is at a rest stop in route to Mustang Island for MustangFest.
This shot was taken right before it transformed and killed that lady for standing
too close to it.



Here it is right after we got the barlights on...:

The stangpede barricade is my roommates car. it no longer has all the graphics on it after getting pulled over for impersonating a cop twice.

In his case it just said SALEEN....tell him his defense lies here:



But mine requires a badge in pretty much every state I can think of.
Ive been stopped once. He felt foolish when I showed him. I almost said
his car looked unusual to me as well so I almost stopped him to verify (since it was a constable)....but I kept my tounge. lol

Barricade awesome car.. wish mine looked that good.. i have been pulled over a few times with my car and i use magnets for all of my logos and still get hasseled. i would love to make it to san antonio to see your car and see how you fabed up your push bumper. i just dont think im going to make it down there. car looks great!!!
