Default Q: Value of 1992 Saleen Mustang convertible???

I am looking at buying a 92 saleen vert. Trying to get an idea of value. Have been in talks with owner past 2 years to sell it. Saw the car about 6 yrs ago and it ran then. Since then I know that it has been sitting outside under a raised house and that it needs atleast tires (dry rotted). Have not see it recently but I know that in the past that it got some paint overspray on it from a neighbor painting their house at one time but supposely was fixed. I know that the car is rare that few were produced, etc., etc. but still looking for some feedback as to real value of car.
Thanks for any words of wisdom

As you may know, only seventeen serialized Saleen Mustangs were produced in 1992. Of these seventeen, five were convertibles.

If memory serves correctly:
92-0014 - S/C Spyder (black, black cloth)
92-0015 - S/C (white, black cloth)
92-0016 - S/C (blue, titanium Saleen leather)
92-0018 - S/C Spyder (black, titanium Saleen leather)
92-0022 - S/C (red, white Saleen leather)

I believe all but 92-0022 have been seen in recent years.

My buddies mother has a 92 Saleen SC vert... Black. It's an Auto. Not sure on the color interior. They have had it since new and it sits. I've thought for years buying it, I want a fox Saleen bad but not vert although the 92 year is appealing.

Only like 17 total cars, 4 or so were verts in 92? Do you recall the bumper number? 92-015? Thanks

I "think" it's number 18. Being only 2 blacks verts made 50/50 chance! LOL

92-0014 - S/C Spyder (black, black cloth)
92-0015 - S/C (white, black cloth)
92-0016 - S/C (blue, titanium Saleen leather)
92-0018 - S/C Spyder (black, titanium Saleen leather)
92-0022 - S/C (red, white Saleen leather)

Talked with my buddy. His mom's Saleen Vert is a 91 NOT 92 (he believes it's #60) ... Black Supercharged with 13,000 miles. Looks showroom clean.

Sounds like a real nice car! Not many 91's either. Came with rare cd, factory leather interior, and a black top. Cool car!

Just out of curiosity. What would be your reasoning?
