Hi Mike. Your friend is looking for 05-056. This is the Beryllium 2005 S7 in Iron man. Vin: 1S9SB18125S000056

Also, this vehicle was a combination development, press car, and executive demo. This may be the S7 Twin Turbo with the highest miles.

This 05-056 WAS NOT featured in the movie Red Line.

An estimated 80 or so S7 models (combined) were produced from 2002-2007(?).

05-056 went to Barrett Jackson in 2009.

Lot Number: 1305
Auction: SCOTTSDALE 2009
Status: SOLD
Sale Type: NO RESERVE
Price: *$412,500.00
Year: 2005

In 2011, 05-056 went to auction by Gooding & Company. Selling price was listed as $297,000.00. Lot number 297.

JDM may have tuned 05-056. There was once a video online, I believe.

Chance is the guy registered the car and his collection in Montana so he did not have to mess with emissions, etc. Happens all the time as the state has some friendly car guy rules. No guarantee the car is in Montana at all.

Yes, if I had high end cars such as the s7, I would do the same with registering the vehicles in Montana or some other "car tax" or smog friendly states.

That beryllium is such a BEAUTY!

Dave: if there were only 80 or so s7's...is there still a factory certified mechanic/shop that the owner can take it to?

Alternative Automotive Technologies, located in Michigan, can service an S7. Or they have in the past.
