What’s the real value on a 2006 Extreme?
Hard to find a real number on these cars.
Dealerships have no clue what mine is worth here in the midwest. 2006 Saleen Extreme coupe. 14,500 original miles. Kooks long tubes, twin disc clutch, AFT cold air, professionally tuned, list goes on. Dyno’d at 519rwhp with .410 gears. Very nice and fun to drive - It just sits all the time so I’m debating putting it up for sale. Let me know what you think! Appreciate it! |

Anywhere from 40-58k. I tried to buy the vista blue convertible. Went on BAT for 50k and a dealer bought it. Flipped it at a 65k listing and 58k was as low as they'd go (which wasn't horrible since they had 52,500 plus transpo in it). Too much in my opp. BAT has super low mile cars at 50k sales, and others listed at 45k. A guy on one of the Saleen groups said he paid 40k and that car had 10-13k miles I believe.

I bought 99 that you are speaking of because I think the value will go up if I keep the mileage low. I probably overpaid at 58 but I guess it helps increase others values. I love the car.

So my local dealership offering me $11k probably isn’t the best value!!?!? Hahaha! What a joke!
Thank you for the responses. I might try to sell it. Start at $50,000 and see where it goes. I have heard the lower the production number, the higher the value. Not sure if that’s actually true, but I have a low numbered Extreme. Thanks again. |

I'll give you 12k. And my cash is more crisp than the dealers. LOL! That's a pretty insulting value there.
FWIW, the car number didn't matter to me. I wanted low miles (which you have) and I preferred stock/as few mods as possible. Or, if I found any with mods, original parts included and easy to swap back was better for me. But I bought to hold on to for a long time and all my other cars are original with few mods (maybe wheels and tires, etc. but I keep originals) Color helps (but also depends on the person), and if you have the Saleen letter/doc stating how rare, that will help. And pics, pics, pics. Take lots of good, quality pics. GLWS! |

That’s a good plan. Bring a trailer auction site looks like it works well. Good luck.

I like Windveil blue and 1 of 2 is great. Looks like we each got what we like. With the rarity of the cars, I think we’ll all do well in the long run… and they are awesome rides.

I really don’t want or need to sell it. I love the car for sure. And if it keeps appreciating value, that’s a solid point to keep it. I’m very torn.

Thanks for sending that! It looks identical! Except I do have some mods, twin disc clutch, touch screen stereo (still have the shaker unit) and threw on some Nitto drags on the back to help with traction.
