Looks great! How long have you had the '88?

And thank you very much for posting photos in your Photo Album -- that's a sweet '88!

Great looking '88, looks like everything is there. I am partial to the Fox platform as I have an '88 hatch which I bought new.

I have officially owned it since '95, but it's been in the family since it was new. SoCal car; no rust; low miles; ALL original. It does have the usual problems, but I'm working on them-

ASHTRAY (I got the rebuild kit)

CENTER CAPS (2 original, plus 6 replacements and stickers) http://www.performanceautosport.com/

REAR SHOCKS (monroe formula gp, "originals" just purchased on ebay) Safe to drive?

PIONEER RADIO (looking for a manual or code help. I know the original code, but the battery has died many times. When I turn it on, sometimes the display reads CODE, and other times ERR.

TIRES- Any suggestions?

The Pioneer manual you probably need may be here: http://saleenforums.soec.org/showthread.php?t=5849

Good deal! Nice to see an original family Saleen. Great that you've been able to keep it! Oh, welcome to the forums!!!

Yes, yes. What a poor design from Ford.

Great item to stock up on. Mark can be a good guy, depends on the time of the month.

Forum member saleenlocator (Greg) knows Ben who tends to sell the NOS GPs on eBay. I'd have no issue using the shocks.

Greg should have a Pioneer manual for the cassette deck.

Depends on what you're going for. If you want the original brand, see if General Tire produces a V or Z performance tire in the original size. I've probably been brand brainwashed, but I've enjoyed various BFG V and Zs and one set of Yokohama AVSs on various Fox cars.
