Saleen Day at Cars & Coffee and FFW - October 20, 2007

On Saturday, October 20, 2007, Saleen will be the featured marque at the weekly Cars & Coffee event held at Ford's Premiere Auto Group facility in Irvine, California. This is just across Alton from the Irvine Spectrum. An eclectic array of cars, new and old, Cars & Coffee is a popular meeting place for Southern California car enthusiasts.

SOEC members are encouraged to arrive by 6:30 as the featured marque fills up quick. For questions about SOEC or the Cars & Coffee event, contact Jim at 714-369-8621. You do not need to be a SOEC member to attend this free event.

This is a great event and coffee and pastries are available in the show area. In the back of the PAG building is the cafeteria, which is open for a full hot breakfast from 7-9.

After Cars & Coffee, Saleen is leading a road rally to California Speedway in Fontana leaving at 9 a.m. where the 5th Annual Pacific Fun Ford Weekend Nationals will be taking place. This is the venue where the Saleen SpeedLab is currently showcasing their capabilities, along with JDM Engineering, by competing in the RPM Outlet Ultra Stang, Saleen SpeedLab Street Stang and the JDM Tough Truck Classes. Fun Ford Weekend will also feature a car show exclusive to Saleen owners and enthusiasts. Much like the car shows Saleen has hosted in the past, the Fun Ford Weekend car show will feature Best in Class awards for Saleen vehicles. Fun Ford Weekend will also offer Saleen owners an opportunity to take their own cars on the drag strip.
