Dosent look anything like a saleen car. In my opinion it looks like a modern mach 1. It also makes less hp than the sms one. If i had to pick one i would say the sms version.

I kind of like it, Sedate. Both cars the SMS and the Saleen will take a little adjusting to. Both are MUCH better looking then a GT and remember this is the first offering from MJ they will be releasing another car later this year, a little more in line with the traditional look.

My first car love was a '70 Mach 1 in fire engine red... this reminds me of that.

Akin to the day, the Mach 1 was the "entry" car for Ford, and a BOSS would be a premium higher much like the S-series we're looking forward to seeing later in the year.

Nice job!

I read that this is the mild version and that a more upgraded model comes later. \

Did you guys see this in the article?:

"Meanwhile, Saleen said it plans to honor warranties from 2005 to 2009, after previously saying that it would not".

Default rims

Are those the Heritage rims? If so, not to knock their owners, but I would have expected something more impressive than overstock.

Looks like 2008 Dan Gurney Edition wheels. Yes, a 19" Heritage rim.
