Q: S302 WL Vs. Mustang Performance Package

Need some clarification here. The 2015 Mustang Performance package adds a lot of good performance stuff. But does the Saleen White Label start with the Mustang Performance Package and does Saleen add on from there?

Or does the Saleen White Label have Saleen added stuff just to the base GT and not include the Mustang Performance Package?

I ask the question because performance wise, the Mustang Performance Package adds a lot, but if the Saleen White Label does not start off with the Performance Package, it seems that performance wise, the Saleen White Label performance is not as good as the Performance package.

The base chassis for a Saleen conversion can be whatever the customer chooses.

Traditionally, the S302 White Label uses a base Mustang GT. Though if a customer wants a more luxurious vehicle (or performance), they can specify which Ford packages / options they desire.

No, the Saleen conversion does not use the factory Mustang Performance Pack chassis, but such a vehicle can be produced if the buyer wants.
