The S331's came new with the standard plug from Ford. However, your best bet is to step up to the one piece Brisk plug. I purchased mine from Troyer Performance.

How much were they from Troyer and do you have to gap them?

I believe they were about $120 and I remember them coming pre-gapped.

+1 on the brisk plugs. I've gone through 2 sets of the Autolite HT0's and I have less than 11,000 miles on my truck.

Got the Brisk plugs for $120 from Troyer and they pre gapped. Takes a special tool to gap this style of plugs.

I ordered mine straight from the Brisk website, so I wonder if it was pre-gapped. The Brisk website also said the plug doesnt require a special gapping tool. Maybe I just didnt get the ones everyone else got.

You're correct....I thought they had the same electrode as the Motorcraft plugs. I just opened the box up to check them out....I still have to install them.

We put the Motorcraft plugs in when I installed the supercharger upgrade kit in and it wasn't to bad....just have to have the right combination of extension, socket and rachet to get it done. Takes about a half hour to change them....and I have to do it again.

I just heard of a lot of people breaking the porcelin and half the plug left in the head and haveing to buy a special tool to remove them. Any truth to that?

If you don't know a Matco Tool man in your area, I could get you one and send it to you. I will check on a price tomorrow....it wasn't to terrible expensive. I am pretty good friends and a good customer with our Matco Tool man.

The Matco Tool socket with the built-in extension is $28 my cost and they have a spark plug socket with a built-in magnet that is $36 my cost. The tool guy said you would beable to use different length extenions with the magnetic socket. Anyway, these are both designed for the Ford Triton motors.
