Yes, those are the owners, with Steve in the background, of this 500 hp, naturaly aspirated beauty. It has some one off Sturgis emblems in it. Problem is, you can't quite get the cars awesome color on film. I will be posting some pictures soon, as I took a couple hundred during the show. The show was awsome!

I actually posted a link to my photos but it got put into its own thread sorry guys... and as far as the side stripes go I know the dimensions on these due to being a member of Nor Cal Shelby if you PM me I can give them to you but they do not like this info out in the open

All I was ablwe to gather was the car had a Boss intake, a SMS CAI and a custom tune. Apparently SMS and JDM worked with the owners to develope the engine package.

looks like a extreme wing to me, the ones that were on the 99 S351 and the ones with the center exhaust like below.

Yes, those are the new owners of the Lizstick Red Speedster standing next to Steve. They are good friends of ours.

Apparently, it may be a little while before they can take possession because the car has created such a buzz that it has been requested to be shown off at some big show in CA and also to pose for a bunch more photo shoots for magazine articles.

I guess our friends aren't going to be able to quietly and anonymously enjoy their new car.

it has cams, Ported BOSS intake, SMS Throttle Body, Exhaust and a custom tune, they wouldn't really spill to much info when I was Chatting with Sean thats all he told me but he said he will build another one for whoever wants to pay for one, LOL I told him we will be in talks about putting one in my 02 and he was pretty stoked!

Did anyone else notice the color change on the Molly Pop? front bumper and hood do not match the car.

good eye, but i think it could just be the lighting, or the camera. is the sky really just grayish, white like that in CA, no blue or white clouds anywhere? looks weird.

I would also say the lighting but, that driver side fender and hood look way off for being in the same area. Hmmmmm

One thing to keep in mind with regards to the Saleen custom colors. The pigment fades or clouds with age and use.

Even all the other pics of the Mollypop car are faded in the same areas, so I dought that it is the lighting, the clouds or even the camera. I think that their paint had the same problem the Ford laser red does. To much sunlight/over time the paint color fades on some cars.
