Help: Smog problem
I have a 2008 420S. never had a problem smoging this car before, but the smog station said they need a number to enter for the super charger. I have nothing under the hood that has this number. Can someone please advise.

What does the station mean by "number?"

I assume its a carb # . I have the calibration #'s in the glove box, but nothing under the hood. The calibration # is not what they want.

A CARB number for the Saleen supercharger?

I got the EO# . That was part of the problem. Yesterday I went back, and now the smog software says it Failed the OBD vehicle communication. They don't use the dyno anymore. Has anyone else having problems with California BS!!

Does your car's battery stay connected? Does your car have a custom tune?

they don't disconnect the battery. I bought the car used many years ago. as far as i know , it's the saleen tune with the 475hp upgrade. There's a tune sticker in the glove box. There were no upgrades under the hood , it looked stock and I haven't changed anything. Last time i had it smogged, it was on the dyno, had no problem. They aren't using that now.
