Question Q: 19-014 S302 Black Label?

Hey! Anyone have any opinions about the Black Label models or any info specifically on 19-014 currently for sale? We have a 2007 Grabber Orange SuperShaker that we REALLY enjoy.
Thanks!
Greg

Was this the car owned by the dealer in So-Cal? West Coast Exotics? WCE was not a Ford dealer, so they have to buy and title their "new" inventory. There was a similar dealer situation in Pennsylvania back around 2014. A specialty dealer decided to sell new Saleen vehicles, but they titled / registered all of their new inventory.

Or am I mistaken?

The original title showing 5 miles is from Montana with the listed owner as Steve's Automotive, LLC. It was signed over to West Coast Exotics in June of this year by Steve Saleen. Just wondering what the rest of the story is - if there is one?

It could be how they (Saleen Auto) are holding cars that are not Ford dealer inventory units. Could also be a tax incentive thing as well.

There is no evidence that 19-0014 was either a demo or promotional model. It's been sitting at WCE since last summer.

Interesting for sure. We are thrilled to have found the car and just glad to have a title with Steve's signature on it. Cool piece of memorabilia! Thanks for checking in!

Be careful - I owned YL 15-0032 and if your counting on Saleen to honor the warranty good luck

On the plus side... from FoMoCo.

A 2019 Ford Mustang has a:
3 yr / 36,000 mi basic warranty
5 yr / 60,000 mi powertrain warranty

For the YL and BL, the Ford powertrain warranty goes... and one year of the basic warranty was used up as the car sat at West Coast Exotics over the past 13-14 months.

Depending on the purchasers discount(s), might not have been a bad buy.

I’d tag/tax laws are the same as in Georgia, the Montana LLC registration is dirt cheap. A tag with tax attached in Ga would be around 7% of value(by state) in Montana the same vehicle tag/tax would be $55-125. So it seems the car was registered by Steve’s Auto LLC there then sold to WCC saving on the tax, giving WCC the maximum profit margin.
Enjoy the car it’s beautiful! Now there are 3 of us with 19-014’s; My Sportruck, a Sportruck XR and this Black Label 302.

Thanks for the insight and that makes perfect sense! The car is just amazing as is your Sportruck - I'm sure!

Yes they are! It’d be a cool pic of all three 19-014’s were together somewhere in time.
