They are an independent business, but Brian Black has a long history with Saleen vehicles and the Saleen family.

For example, the Plum Insane SMS 570X Challenger #2010-01 is Brian's.

Just found out from Tony that the SMS didn't make the show, Top Gear, but they are still trying.
It is still over here in Germany, Rotterdam. If it wasn't 6 hours from where I am I would be looking at it right now. Hopefully it makes a trip a little farther south and I can go and see it.
