PARNELLI JONES
I saw a PARNELLI JONES today and I have to say I'm a little disappointed. Saleen has all that money and used left over parts (pulley) from a 281 and clearly used it on a 302. Just a little attention detail wouldn't have hurt.

Nice pics, FAST!
My question mark was really a comment on the disappointment. It is clearly stated that these are built off of the 3V 281. What else are they going to start with? This powerplant is second only to the Extreme in terms of handbuilt work done to it. The proof is in the performance, and this thing sings. It doesn't bother me a bit that it 'shares pullies' with another Saleen. Its hand built with forged internals and the only 302 around. This thing states authentic muscle in clear terms. Chuck |

I'm with Saleen01-583 in his disappointment. If you are going to build a limited edition car, the details can go a long way. I would think that 500 is enough cars to get unique lettering on the pulley. I guess most people won't ever notice.
