Default Install Help: Racecraft K-member brace on an 1988?

Any body have a picture of the K-member installed. What fasteners do you use, just long bolts & washers or special fasteners. Does it go aboce or below the k-member. Thanks in advance! Fran For a 88 saleen.

Goes below the K-member. Standard bolts and washers will work, just be sure to get decent quality, at least grade 5 or 8.8 rating (I don't recall if those fasteners are Imperial or metric thread).

cheers

You need two 12mm bolts (M12-1.75mm pitch by 100mm long and two flat washers and two lock washers.
It takes one flat washer between the k-member and the brace, and one lock washer between the bolt head and brace. You can torque to the same specs as the maximum motorsports brace.

Default K-member brace on a 88

Have the brace but can't figure out where it goes. Do you have to remove any bollts where the k-meber meets the frame? There are two holes in the k-member but only about 21" apart. This brace is 28" What am i missing. Big dummy can't figure where it goes. Thanks in advance for information. Fran

No problem. We'll catch them and combine. Best wishes on the installation.
