Default Tysons Ford Show What an amazing show

Ceece

You and your club members should be proud of yourself, you guys put on one amazing show. I wish I had my camera with me to capture the day. To start with there must have been over 200 cars there including 2 Shelby Series 1, Barricade. The band was great played some good music and sounded amazing. Mark and the guys from Performance Autosport were, RTR was there doing drifting demos and ride alongs. Ford had their Fusion simulator car there giving rides and burning up rubber. All in all I have to say this was one great show considering it was in the middle of Tysons corner.

Local Saleen owners if you missed it try and make it out next year and those who wherer there please post up pictures here.

This was the first show that I have taken my coupe to since I bought it back in November. It was a lot of fun, I met some really great people, drooled over some really great cars, got to see some Amazing drifting, and just had a fantastic time!

Unfortunately, I forgot my camera and could only take pics with my iPhone, so please excuse the quality of these photos.

My car, 1988 coupe #320

1990 SC #01 Amazing car! ( Being a fox body nut myself, this car was the first choice pick on my voting ballot! )

The following were the 2nd & 3rd choice picks on my ballot. A Beautiful pair of S351's!

1997 S351 #39

1998 S351 #14

Punisher, I didn't get a chance to meet you at the show, but my two nephews and I voted for your car for Best Engine!

That would be nice, we were spread out a little bit.

I am sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you at the show Greg, I was hoping maybe you would get to bring your coupe so there would be two at the same show!

I stopped by your car a couple of times to see if you were there. Better luck next time. Hopefully I will get tags on the coupe this week and will be able to take it around to shows.

It was great to meet a few of the guys I have met on this site. I think we had 7 Saleens there (not sure of exact count). I met Mark LaMaskin for the 1st time from PAS. It was a pleasure to meet all of you. This was the 6th Annual event and I am sure there will be a 7th.

I'm sure I'll catch up with you at the PAS open house next month Greg!

So, what did you think of my coupe, was it up to snuff for the show?

What a great show! It was so nice meeting some of you guys and the cars were unreal. Congratulations to those of you that placed top 20, Saleen did very well.

Here are a few photos I snapped of some of the same cars already pictured. Hopefully I have everything squared away on 06-031 before the PAS open house!

Great show Ceece.

Kip kilmons was an excellent show, they really know how to treat people there. the parking was a little too tight for my preference, but you gotta deal with the room you got. so understandable. The promotors really deserve a lot of credit for how well they took care of the entrants. i will definately return!!!!

Sorry it was a last min thing for me, this project has me running and will until the end of 2013, but I like the job security. :)
