S 331 SC new owner
I just pickup a 2007 S 331 SC and am loving it so far. I was wondering if anyone has any input on the use of synthetic oils + or - .

Welcome to the Saleen Forums at soec.org, and congratulations on your new Saleen!
Generally, follow the recommendations outlined in the Owner's Handbook, though there are a few tech-savvy guys that will likely chime in. Those are nice trucks -- did you buy it new from a dealer?

I bought it from Saleen with 7K on it and I love it. The handling and performance is outstanding!
Are there any Saleen shows / meets in or near Michigan comming up this summer? |

Saleen reccomends going to a full synthetic (mobile 1, royal purple, etc.)
If your truck has the original electric fans still on it, keep an eye on the temp gauge as they have a bad habit of overheating. If this does happen, contact the Saleen warranty dept. and they will send you a mechanicalfan kit to replace the electric fans. This is what all the newertrucks as well as the Harley Davidsons have on them. Enjoy your new toy. Jorge |

Jorge/teamsxr,
Thanks for the input! Mine has the clutch fan already, and I will be switching to Mobile1 as I have had very good luck with it in the past. |

I swapped out ALL my fluids to Royal Purple about 30 days ago, the stuff is not cheap but the truck feels stronger and I feel good that it's better protected.
