1999-04 Extreme hood question - Water entry?
How does water NOT get inside the engine compartment with slotted vents in the hood? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have never seen one up close and was just wondering?

I just put a towel against the vents on my heat extractor hood (1994-1998) when I wash it to minimize water going into the engine bay, then use detail spray on the part of the hood where the towel was at.
