Help: Foaming intercooler coolant?
I have a 2005 GT Mustang with a Saleen VI supercharger kit installed. I needed to replace the intercooler pump today and noticed after a test drive that the coolant is very foamy in the reservoir. What might cause this?

someone probably mixed "water wetter" with antifreeze. Just flush out the system and stick with 50/50 antifreeze. Water wetter with just water lowers the cooling of some intercoolers by 10 degrees.

It happens to people all the time.
Very well could just be air, you mix air with anything and it will foam and bubble up. I wouldn't worry about it. If anything let it run a while with the cap off. On my setup I have a 2 gallon tank where the battery was, it flows back to the tank near the top, if the fluid level is lower than the return it will foam up.
